Overseas Chinese: refers to Chinese people who have Chinese nationality but heve settled in foreign countries.
Chinese descendants: refers to people of Chinese ancestry, but whose nationality is not Chinese. It usually refers to the descendants of overseas Chinese who were born in their country of residence and have acquired the nationality of that country.
